On request, ICCA provides dance and music performances, educational displays and demonstration, informative lectures and slide presentations to share Indian culture with schools, retirement homes, and community groups in Saskatoon and in neighbouring communities.
From time to time, ICCA provides workshops and seminars dealing with a variety of topical issues.
Drawing upon the world's largest film industry, throughout the year, ICCA shows a selection of current feature-length films on a variety of subjects: some serious; some just pure fun, but always colourful!
Once a year, ICCA invites Saskatoon to share an elegant feast of Indian cuisine followed by a live musical recital.
Several times throughout the year, ICCA plays host to a variety of touring groups performing classical and folk traditions of Indian dance and music.
Once a year, ICCA and the Indo-Canadian community assemble India Pavilion and treat thousands of patrons to a feast of savoury Indian cuisine, stunning entertainment, and carefully researched educational displays.
Our volunteers do their part to maintain a healthy environment in Saskatoon by helping with the annual Meewasin Valley Cleanup Campaign.
Whenever possible we offer support to new immigrants of Indian origin to Saskatoon (whether new to Canada or moved from another province) and help them settle down, connect with appropriate professional organisations related to their occupation etc.
